Oswald Chambers: Abandoned To God by David McCasland
Though he was a world-famous author and missionary, little has been known about Oswald Chambers. David McCasland's definitive biography of a man who considered himself completely Abandoned to God reveals the fascinating stories behind the beloved author of My Utmost for His Highest. Out of the Saltshaker – and into the world by Rebecca Manley Pippert
Pippert’s updated classic goes to the heart of what evangelism should be: not something we do, but a way of life. She wants us to laugh at her mistakes, identify with her failures, and find out how to really be salt in the world. She encourages Christians to learn how to talk to non-Christians out of genuine love and share Christ in that context. Great stories from her own experience, emphasizing how natural sharing Christ should be. Very motivational, good for Christians of any age.

Prince Caspian by C. S. Lewis
Narnia . . . the land between the lamp-post and the castle of Cair Paravel, where animals talk, where magical things happen . . . and where the adventure begins. Peter, Susan Edmund and Lucy are returning to boarding school when they are summoned from the dreary train station (by Susan's own magic horn) to return to the land of Narnia -- the land where they had ruled as kings and queens and where their help is desperately needed.
Sacred Parenting: How Raising Children Shapes Our Souls by Gary L. Thomas
Sacred Parenting delves into how parenting affects the parent. It explores the spiritual dynamics of parenting, and why caring for children is such an effective discipline in shaping our souls and forming the character of Christ within us. Because Sacred Parenting is not a how to book, it openly admits the difficulties, struggles, and failures that often accompany parenting. It goes on to show how God uses those trying and discouraging times to build up the parents who experience them. Parents of all children will be encouraged by the examples of how other men and women have successfully handled the challenges and occasional defeats of parenting, and will be inspired by stories that reaffirm the spiritual value of being a parent.

Now, offering inspiring personal examples, Dr. Carson invites us to embrace risk in our own lives. From a man whose life dramatically portrays the connection between great risks and greater successes, here are insights that will help you dispel your fear of risk so you can dream big, aim high, move with confidence, and reap rewards you’ve never imagined.
unChristian: What a New Generation Really Thinks about Christianity... and Why It Matters by David Kinnaman
Based on groundbreaking Barna Group research, unChristian uncovers the negative perceptions young people have of Christianity and explores what can be done to reverse them. The New Testament writer Paul told the first-century Christians: "You yourselves are our letter . . . known and read by everybody." When a person "reads" your life, what does it say? What does your faith look like to outsiders?
